This comfortable trip uses two different camps as bases from which to explore the Selous Game Reserve, and to gain some real insights into Tanzania's largest game reserve; Impala Camp and Sand Rivers provide a great contrast, and the journey between them, across the park's different environments, helps you to see different sides of the Selous – a remarkable World Heritage.

Day 1

Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled British Airways flies overnight directly to Dar es Salaam.

Days 2-5 Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania

Selous Impala Camp (full board & activities)

You usually arrive in time for lunch, and will then spend 4 nights here enjoying the safari activities on offer.

Days 6-8 Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania

Make the most of your activities here, including motorboat trips up the impressive Steiglers Gorge, as well as 4WD safaris and excellent walking safaris.

Day 9

After your last morning on safari, you fly to Dar es Salaam, and then either continue onto one of Tanzania's islands for a relaxing beach holiday – perhaps Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia – or overnight in Dar prior to connecting with your early-morning British Airways flight back to London.
