This short 10 Day fly-in itinerary concentrates on the dunes at Sossusvlei and the spectacular game viewing of Etosha National Park.

Day 1

Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled South African Airways overnight flight will take you, via Johannesburg, to Windhoek, where you land early in the morning.

Days 2-3 Namib-Naukluft National Park, Namibia

Days 4-6 Etosha National Park, Namibia

Fly north over the great escarpment to Etosha National Park, to enjoy the hospitality at the smart Ongava Lodge (fba) for three nights. Situated near the park's western boundary, on the private Ongava Reserve, activities include 4WD trips around Etosha and the Ongava Reserve, led by the camp's experienced wildlife guides.

Days 7-8 Central Highlands, Namibia

Fly south over the rolling Central Highlands to spend two nights at Okonjima Bush Camp; home of the Africat Foundation. Here you can learn more about their conservation projects with endangered big cats, and get the chance to track cheetah and leopard.

Day 9

After your flight over the rugged Central Highlands, you arrive at Windhoek Airport in good time to catch your flight to Johannesburg to connect to your scheduled overnight flight back to the UK.

Day 10

On arrival back at London Heathrow in the early morning, you will have time to connect onto other flights, or travel back to your home in the UK, very easily.
