Day 1

Depart London Heathrow on a scheduled British Airways overnight flight, for Arusha Airport via Dar es Salaam.

Days 2-3 Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport mid morning, where a driver will meet you and take you on a fascinating drive through many small African towns that brim with atmosphere on your way to Tarangire National Park. Your accommodation is just on the outskirts of the park – and therefore outside of the park gates. This allows for wonderful flexibility of activities, including walks and night drives whilst staying at the luxurious and stylish….

Tarangire Treetops (full board & activities)

Spend your 2 nights here exploring Tarangire National Park, whilst out on day long 4WD safaris. You will have a private driver guide during your time here and so your days are flexible and can be arranged around what you want to do. Days 4-5 Serengeti Migration Area, Tanzania

After breakfast, depart for a nearby airstrip to fly over spectacular Rift Valley scenery and into the heart of the Serengeti National Park, to a very comfortable tented camp. Day 8

After your last morning on safari, you fly back to Arusha and then either transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport in order to connect with your British Airways flight to London, or continue on to one of our add-on trips to the islands or beached – see below for ideas!

Day 9

Arrive back in London early in the morning, with plenty of time to catch onward connections to your home.

This itinerary includes:
