This 6-night safari take you to two of the highlights of northern Tanzania's safari circuit, Ngorongoro Crater Area and the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park; fly into these very different regions to experience some excellent game viewing in Tanzania, whilst staying in luxury lodges.

If you want to catch the great migration in the Serengeti, then ideal timing for this trip would be around October to December – when it's usually in the north east Serengeti. Alternatively, if you're visiting between about April to July, then consider the very similar Golden Oriole fly-in safari as an alternative to this trip.

After your safari, if you want to relax on the beach, then add one of our beach add-on trips to Zanzibar, Pemba, Ras Kutani or the Mafia Archipelago, to your itinerary.

Day 1

Depart London Heathrow on an overnight British Airways flight to Kilimanjaro Airport, via Nairobi.

Days 2-3 Ngorongoro Crater & Conservation Area, Tanzania

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport, where you will be met by your driver and transferred to Arusha Airport. Here you board a light aircraft and fly to Manyara Airstrip where you be collected and driven up to the Crater rim. Stop to admire the wonderful views whist en-route to the fabulous….

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge (full board & activities)

During your 2-night stay, you'll enjoy a long safari down into the Ngorongoro Crater to see some fantastic game with an experienced guide from the lodge. Then return to indulge in the pure luxury of this flamboyantly decadent lodge.

Days 4-5 Serengeti Migration Area, Tanzania

Have a relaxing start to the day with an excellent breakfast overlooking the crater, before catching a light aircraft into the Serengeti. You will be met here by a guide who will take you on a leisurely safari drive before you arrive at the luxurious…

Klein's Camp (full board & activities)

During your 2-night stay, enjoy excellent game drives, night drives and walking in an area where the permanent wildlife is abundant. If you visit around October to November, then you're also likely to catch the great wildebeest migration passing through.

Day 6

After an early morning game drive, fly back to Kilimanjaro Airport and then either continue onto one of our beach holiday add-ons, or connect with your afternoon British Airways flight to London.

Day 7

Land at London Heathrow in the morning - with plenty of time to make onward connections to home.
