This exciting and great value safari includes two very different camps – Impala and Mdonya Old River – in Tanzania's two largest wildlife areas: Selous Game Reserve and Ruaha National Park; these camps offer a very authentic taste of safari, and the parks are very different – it's a trip of exploration of these fascinating areas, each with a high concentration of wildlife.

Day 1

Starting at London Heathrow in the evening, your scheduled British Airways flight, flies overnight directly to Dar es Salaam.

Days 2-4 Ruaha National Park, Tanzania

Mdonya retains a very natural atmosphere, and during your 4 nights stay here there is likely to be plenty of game passing through the camp.

Days 5-8 Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania

It's about a 90-minute flight to the dramatically scenery of the Selous. There you'll be met and start to take in the differences, and similarities, between the flora and fauna of the two parks. Day 9

After your last morning safari, you fly to Dar es Salaam. There you can either continue onto an add-on trip, perhaps a beach holiday in Zanzibar, or maybe take a short overnight stop in Dar es Salaam prior to connecting with an early-morning British Airways flight back to London.

Notes: These two camps close during April and May. The prices indicated are per person sharing; call us for single person supplements.
