Honey Badger Itinerary

This extensive Botswana safari explores the varied and beautiful wet and dry environments of the Okavango Delta and Linyanti regions: you will stay for a total of 13 nights in 5 top safari camps - Jacana, Duba Plains, Savuti Camp, Seba, and Chitabe. The Okavango Delta's bird-watching is world-renowned and each camp is situated in an area with its own bird and wildlife specialities: for example – sightings of huge herds of buffalo and great prides of lion at Duba are almost guaranteed; and Chitabe is known for its healthy wild dog population.

This safari to Botswana can easily be combined with a visit to see the Victoria Falls. See our trips to Livingstone for examples of the add-on options, and their costs.

The trip is an individual trip – not a group trip.

Day 1
Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled overnight flight takes you to Johannesburg.

Days 2-3 Kwando-Linyanti area, Botswana
Savuti Camp In Jo'burg you connect to a scheduled Air Botswana flight to Maun, where you are met and swiftly flown by light aircraft to Savuti Camp. . When you land, the airstrip is a short game drive to your new base, Savuti Camp which stands beside the Savuti Channel (about 42km due west of the renowned Savuti Marsh). You usually arrive in time for a late lunch or tea, and are based here for 2 nights. Click below for further details of-
Savuti Camp (full board & activities)

Days 4-6 Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana
Jacana Camp After your morning activity at Savuti, you will be transferred by 4WD to the airstrip for a flight onto your next camp, the picturesque Jacana Camp, which is situated in the private Jao Concession. You will be transferred from the airstrip to camp by 4WD, and are based here for 3 nights. The environment here is very different to Savuti and as well as day and night game drives, you can explore the waterways of the Delta by boat and mokoro. Click below for further details of –
