This Botswana safari stays in four well-appointed safari camps in the Linyanti and Selinda reserves, and the Okavango Delta – for a total of 10 nights – including Savuti Camp, Selinda Camp, Little Vumbura and Chitabe Lediba. Day 1

Starting from the UK, your scheduled overnight flight will take you from London Heathrow to Johannesburg.

Days 2-3 Kwando-Linyanti area, Botswana

In Jo'burg you'll connect to a 2-hour scheduled Air Botswana flight to Maun; where you'll be met and flown to a small airstrip beside the Linyanti River. A short game-drive through the woodlands will take you to Savuti Camp, which stands beside the Savuti Channel (about 42km due west of the renowned Savuti Marsh). You will be based here for 2 nights of superb game-viewing and birding at –

Days 4-6 Kwando-Linyanti area, Botswana

Depart Savuti Camp and transfer by 4x4 game vehicle to the Selinda Reserve. Selinda Camp is a small camp that stands on the edge of the Selinda Spillway. Activities concentrate on day and night drives, and short walks can sometimes be arranged. Spend your next 3 nights at –

Days 7-8 Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana

A 35 minute flight takes you into the Okavango Delta. Land at Vumbura's airstrip, then it is an approximate hour's drive, followed by a short journey by boat to camp - through forests, across plains and open glades – although you'll probably take longer as you stop for game. Vumbura has small, wooded islands and rich floodplains, resulting in great density and diversity of game. For the next 2 nights, your comfortable base is –

Days 9-11 Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana

A 25-minute flight takes you to Chitabe, a private reserve abutting the southern boundary of the Moremi Game Reserve, NG31. You will be met on arrival at the airstrip and taken to Chitabe Lediba by game vehicle (approximately 7km away), where you will spend your next 3 nights. Day 12

You probably have time for a morning activity before your light aircraft flight from Chitabe Lediba to Maun. There you connect with your scheduled international flight to Jo'burg, and onto a scheduled overnight flight home.

Day 13

Arriving back in London Heathrow, early in the morning, it will hardly be as lovely – but then you will have a superb Botswana safari to look back on!
