This add-on trip spends 3 nights at Little Makalolo in Hwange National Park on the edge of the Kalahari Desert in western Zimbabwe, including transfers to/from Livingstone. It is a great way to add a short taste of Zimbabwe as a side-trip onto one of our safaris to Zambia or Botswana – or time at Victoria Falls. You will stay at a small and remote camp in one of Hwange National Park's best wildlife viewing areas.

Days 1-2 Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

You will be picked up from Livingstone in the morning, and driven south over the Victoria Falls railway bridge. It's about 150km, partly along the A8 highway to Hwange National Park and partly game-driving within the park itself. Little Makalolo Camp (full board & activities)

This remote camp is located in a diverse area of Hwange National Park, and animals, particularly elephant and buffalo herds, frequent this area year-round.

Day 3 Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

At Little Makalolo Camp, you have three nights staying in a comfortable tented room with en-suite bathroom. It is great base for experiencing the best of Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe's largest game reserve. Activities include 4WD game drives, night drives with a spotlight, guided walking safaris and game hides – to allow you to get a closer to the game. Little Makalolo Camp (full board & activities)

After spending your last night at Little Makalolo, you will be driven back through Hwange National Park, and north to Victoria Falls or Livingstone, from where you can continue with your travels.

This itinerary includes:

• Transfers between Livingstone or Victoria Falls, and Little Makololo in Hwange.
• All meals
• Soft drinks, locally-produced alcoholic drinks, teas and coffees.
• All game activities – led by professional guides.
• Complementary laundry service.

This itinerary excludes:
