This safari begins in the north with 3 nights on the Nyika Plateau, followed by 4 nights on the western shore of Lake Malawi.

Your days here will be spent on game drives looking for the large herds of roan, reedbuck, zebra and eland. Leopard are also occasionally seen. It is also possible to do walking, fly fishing in the nearby dams and mountain biking. |

On your final morning you will be transferred by road to Lilongwe airport to connect onto your overnight South African Airways flight to London via Johannesburg. Alternatively you may wish to spend some additional time on Lake Malawi. See our selection of beach add-on trips. |

After a superb trip, you arrive at London Heathrow early in the morning with enough time to make any connections for your onward journey home. |

After your final morning on the lake, you will be transferred back to Likoma Island by boat followed by a light aircraft transfer to Lilongwe Airport. From here you will board the scheduled flight to Jo'burg in time for the overnight British Airways flight to London. |
