Squirrelfish island holiday
Visit the Seychelles' three main islands on this great-value
11-night beach break, which mixes 4 nights at the simple, tasteful self-catering Clef des Iles on
Mahé, with 2 nights at the modern, stylish Le Domaine l'Orangeraie on
La Digue, and 4 nights at the chic Le Duc the Praslin on
Praslin; all are on or next to beaches – and you can explore using your own hire car on Mahé and Praslin, or hire a bike on La Digue.
|
Your scheduled Air Seychelles overnight flight will take you from London Heathrow to Mahé International Airport, where you land early in the morning. |
On arrival, you'll be met by one of our representatives and helped to collect your hire car for your time on Mahé. Your hotel is set right on the beach of the dazzling Beau Vallon Bay in the north of the island; to drive there will take about 45 minutes. Then enjoy the rest of the day, have a delicious dinner at the popular Baobab Pizzeria next to your hotel, and relax for your first night at… |
| Clef des Iles (accommodation only) |
| At this peaceful and friendly self-catering property you'll stay for 4 nights. Beau Vallon Beach is well-liked, with plenty of local-style bars and restaurants, several dive centres, and 2km of white powdered beach, stretching right in front of your doorstep. It's relatively busy by Seychellois standards, but there are enough quite spots to relax and unwind. |
Leaving Clef des Iles, you'll drive over to the ferry terminal near Victoria, and drop your rental car before the 45-minute crossing to Praslin by fast catamaran ferry. At Praslin's jetty you'll change onto the fast ferry to La Digue Island, which takes about 30 minutes. You'll be met at La Passe Harbour and transferred by golf cart to… |
| Le Domaine d'Orangeraie (bed & breakfast) |
| Here you'll spend 2 nights. Based just across the road from the sea, it's probably La Digue's most stylish accommodation. The whole complex – including its beautiful tropical gardens – is very well designed and displays a strong Eastern-influenced flair. There are only few activities available directly at the hotel, but excursions through outside operators can be arranged, and a number of local restaurants and secluded beaches are within walking distance. |
A golf cart will pick you up at Le Domain l'Orangeraie and drop you at the La Digue jetty, where you'll go on the 30-minute crossing back to Praslin Island. Here you'll be met by one of our representatives and pick up another hire car. Your hotel is set on the east side of the island, and to drive there will take about an hour or so. Then unwind for the last 4 nights at… |
| Le Duc de Praslin (bed & breakfast) |
| At Côte D'Or, just across the road from the beautiful sands of Anse Volbert, this small hotel is probably the best value place to stay within its class on Praslin. There are a handful of restaurants and watersports centres nearby, and for those seeking total privacy, some small deserted islands, like Chauve Souris and St. Pierre, are just a short boat ride away. |
|
From Côte D'Or, you'll drive back to Praslin's ferry terminal and drop your car, before the fast catamaran ferry takes you back to Mahé in 45 minutes. On arrival, you'll be met and transferred to Seychelles International Airport, which takes approximately 20 minutes, to catch your scheduled overnight flight back to the UK with Air Seychelles. |
|
Your flight touches down at London Heathrow Airport early in the morning, giving you a full day to make connections with other flights or travel on to your home – at the end of a carefree island break in the Seychelles. |
