Tsessebe safari

This is a great trip for the adventurous! You'll start with 2 nights in luxury in a beautiful area in the middle of the Okavango, at Kanana Camp; continue with 2 nights on the Kanana Mokoro Trail exploring the Delta by mokoro in the day and setting up camp at one of the islands at night; finally the last part of your trip is 3 nights at the specialist walking camp, Footsteps in the game-rich Shinde Reserve, where your activities will focus purely on walking safaris.

This Botswana safari can also easily be combined with a visit to see the Victoria Falls. See our trips to Livingstone for examples of the add-on options, and their costs.

Days 2-3 Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana
Kanana In Jo'burg you connect to a scheduled Air Botswana flight to Maun, where you are met and swiftly flown by light aircraft (about 35 minutes) to the Kanana Reserve, in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Days 6-8 Okavango Delta Safari Reserves, Botswana

This is a drier reserve and you will be based here for a further 3 nights to enjoy the interaction of walking safaris with a great guide, and to discover more of the excellent game and birdlife in the beautiful Okavango Delta. You'll be based at the simple, tented camp of –
