Batfish Island holiday: In full
This relaxing 11-night beach holiday stays in self-catering cottages at three small, friendly, owner-run establishments – all set in beautiful locations on the Seychelles' principle islands: explore Praslin with your own hire car, whilst staying at the hospitable Cap Jean Marie Chalets; then travel on to La Digue, where you'll enjoy the relaxed vibe of Fleur de Lys; and finally you'll be welcome at the quiet Chalets d'Anse Forbans at the southern end of Mahé, where you'll also have your own car to explore.
Day 1
Your scheduled Etihad overnight flight will take you from London Heathrow to Mahé, where you arrive in the afternoon.Days 2-5
4 nights at Cap Jean Marie Chalets (accommodation only) | Praslin Island, Seychelles
You'll be met on arrival and transferred to the ferry terminal by private taxi (about 20 minutes). A fast catamaran ferry will take you from Mahé to Praslin in some 45 minutes, where you'll pick up your rental car at the jetty. Your chalet is located on the north western tip of the small island, a short 30 minute drive. You'll stay for 4 nights at this peaceful owner-run retreat. It's set amongst lush palm trees on the edge of the lovely, quiet beach of Anse Kerlan. You'll also be able to explore Praslin on your own with a hire car, and the friendly owners will gladly arrange a variety of activities for you, including golf at the adjacent Lemuria Resort or island-hopping trips.Days 6-8
3 nights at Fleur de Lys (accommodation only) | La Digue Island, Seychelles
You'll drive back to Praslin's jetty and drop off your rental car, before the 30-minutes crossing to La Digue Island. On arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel by private taxi (or possibly ox cart!), just a few minutes away. Then enjoy the rest of the day exploring the area, sunbathing on the beach, or relaxing in the open tropical gardens around Fleur de Lys. You'll stay in one of a handful of immaculate little self-catering chalets, all centred on a tropical garden. It's close to La Digue's centre – within a few hundred metres walk of the nearest restaurant and beach – and also within easy striking distance of this small island's many attractions and beaches. La Digue's flat coastal paths, traffic-free roads and plethora of bikes make cycling by far the best way to explore.Days 9-11
3 nights at Chalets D'Anse Forbans (accommodation only) | Mahe Island, Seychelles
A private taxi (or ox-cart) will take you to the jetty, in time for the 30-minute crossing back to Praslin. On Praslin you'll transfer onto the fast ferry to Mahé, where you'll be met by our representative and collect another hire car at the ferry terminal. It's about 90 minutes' drive to the southern-most point of Mahé's east coast road. Here, you'll spend 3 nights at the owner-run Chalets D'Anse Forbans. Here all of the chalets overlook a great stretch of palm-fringed sandy beach and the sweeping bay of Anse Forbans, also known as the historic 'Bay of Pirates'. It's a lovely and quiet seaside paradise with a relaxed vibe, and the perfect spot for those seeking a classic island experience!Day 12
From Chalets d'Anse Forbans, it's perhaps 45 minutes' drive back to the airport. Your flight will usually be in the late evening, generally allowing you plenty of time to meander and sight-see on the way. Arriving at the airport, you drop off your rental car, and to get your scheduled overnight flight back to the UK with Etihad.Day 13
Your flight lands in London Heathrow early in the morning, giving you a full day to travel on to your home or make connections with other flights – after a relaxing three-island beach holiday to the Seychelles.See Prices & details for the precise dates/prices for this trip - and all the fine print.
