La Digue Island Lodge review
Despite reading poor reviews beforehand we were very pleased with the standard of the rooms and friendliness of the staff - the maid even completely tidied my teenage kids' garden chalet room which was totally unexpected and very gratefully received!
Beautiful grounds but mosquitos a bit of a nuisance. Food - table d'hote excellent, creole buffet so so, breakfast choice good given the few people staying.
Bike hire is a must but we weren't very keen on Anse Source d'Argent as a beach, although great for photos.
We have always believed that acting responsibly is the only way to approach tourism and we're one of
the few companies to hold AITO's original coveted 5-star status for responsible tourism. It's a lead
that others are now following.
