Chalets D'Anse Forbans

Standard Chalet

Like everything at Chalet d'Anse Forbans, the twelve Standard Chalets all have an orderly, cared-for appearance, with newly whitewashed walls, low pitched emerald corrugated-iron roofs and shady verandas complete with patio furniture.

Strung along the shoreline, are six semi-detached buildings, each housing two Standard Chalets. These small bungalows are best suited to couples, though an extra bed or cot can be added to the lounge area for an additional person.

Otherwise the little lounge area has some simple but comfortable cane furniture and colourful cushions, and the adjoining kitchenette has a large fridge, cooker and cupboards containing practical essentials.

Each chalet has one double bedroom in which you'll find a solid double bed, with fresh linen and a recently upgraded mattress, and integrated wardrobes, which offer a good amount of storage. New digital safes were being fitted during our visit in late 2008. There is also a small dressing table.

The small, white-tiled en-suite bathroom has a shower in one corner, a toilet and wash basin.

There are ceiling fans in the lounge and air-conditioning in the bedroom for warm nights, though the sea breeze works wonders at keeping rooms cool. Double glazing and burglar bars are standard, as is an array of outdoor furniture.

There is a daily maid service included in the rates and all linen, including beach towels, is provided.
