Cote D'Or Chalets are a stone's throw from the beautiful Anse Volbert.
Cote D'Or Chalets: Our full report
Côte D'Or Chalets are situated right next to the large Berjaya Praslin Beach Hotel just a little way back from the stunning white sand Côte D'Or beach. Anse Volbert village is a minute's walk away where you can find a couple of shops stocked with (very) basic provisions and a few restaurants. It is also a short stroll along the beach to various dive and water-sport centres, and water-taxis.
This self-catering property has seven chalets constructed from stone and corrugated green iron roofs, which are configured in two double blocks and one single block. The chalets in the double blocks have interconnecting doors which can be unlocked if there is a family that wishes to take two. Each chalet has two sets of French doors leading out onto a private decked wooden terrace, one which leads from the main entrance hall, and one which leads from the bedroom. On your terrace you will find a dining table and chairs, and also a pair of green cushioned garden chairs.
Peach-coloured tiling runs throughout each chalet and the walls are painted a warm yellow colour. Each chalet has its own kitchen, bathroom, hall area and double bedroom. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, complete with fridge/freezer, electric hob, microwave oven, kettle and toaster. The bathroom is tiled in peach marble effect and has a good-sized shower cubicle, a single sink set into a wooden side-board with large mirror and toilet. The bedroom is a good size (some contain sofa beds) and is decorated with blue-patterned curtains and yellow bedspreads. There are two bedside tables with lamps and there is plenty of storage space in large built in wooden cupboards, where you will also find an electronic safe. There is a ceiling fan and remote-control air conditioning.
Although these chalets do not overlook the sea, it is less than a minute's walk from here down a sandy pathway to the beautiful beach and the sheltered waters of Anse Volbert which are great for swimming.
A good self-catering option for families on a budget, Chalets Côte D'Or are ideally located for the beach, shops and restaurants of Anse Volbert.
