Great location and view, friendly helpful
Great location away from the City but close to it. Fabulous view of Table Mountain within "touching" distance.
A small personal hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. Agreat introduction to Cape Town and a location I would recommend to anyone.
Bishops' Court review
Absolutely first class venue. Excellent location, brilliant accomodation and backed up by wonderful staff who couldn't do enough to help us.
It's the nearest we will get to heaven. Six star quality.
Bishops Court, Cape Town
Bishopscourt - we loved it here.
Khadila and her team provide the most excellent personal service, the facilities and the garden are wonderful and the location perfect to both relax and to explore Cape Town and the surrounding area.
Bishops' Court Wonderful As Ever!
This place is fantastic!
The change of ownership has given it a more professional feel (ie there was 'the manager whose name was Thomas' rather than 'your friend Thomas, who happens to be in charge') but this is still a wonderful home from home (wish our home was like this!).
Suites are extremely spacious and comfortable, breakfasts extensive and varied, and Daniel's chauffeur service available to take you anywhere - even to the cricket! Fantastic views of Table Mountain from rooms and the pool.
Eighteen months since our first visit and the ladies who look after the kitchen and cleaning remembered us - wonderful to be greeted by Connie's beaming smile when we emerged in the morning.
The only (minor) criticism is that laundry is expensive - £2.50 for a T shirt.

Everything you could wish for in accommodation when visiting Cape Town.
Small enough to be informal but supplying all that a first class hotel could give. Location and staff superb.
Bishops' Court: An inspired recommendation
Bishops' Court is an excellent guest house with exceptional service. We arrived after a long flight from London and were instantly offered tea and breakfast (very welcome after an airline breakfast). Our room was large and very well decorated with a nice terrace onto the garden and nice views of the slopes of Table mountain.
The manager, Thomas, recommended and booked us into some excellent restaurants; we tried the local Bistro in Newlands as well as the more expensive (but very well worth it) Buitenverwachtung in Constantia. Transport to and from the restaurants was reliably and cheerily provided by Gigi, the chauffeur. Both Thomas and Gigi were very helpful throughout our stay - recommending things to do, places to see and routes to take.
Bishops' Court is very relaxing and easy going place - much more so than any large hotel - on a particularly wet afternoon, having been out and been drenched, we sat in the lounge in front of the log fire and relaxed with a glass or 2 of wine. ....a true holiday.
