This add-on includes 2 nights in Great Karoo in the Samara Private Game Reserve and is designed to be easily combined with one of our self-drive trips along the Garden Route. Either the Bontebok Self-drive Safari or the Waterbuck Self-drive Safari work well here.

Days 1-2
2 nights at Samara Private Game Reserve (full board & activities) | Eastern Cape Game Reserves, South Africa
Leaving the Garden Route drive north-east into the Great Karoo where you will spend the next 2 nights at the wonderfully remote Samara Private Game Reserve staying at the beautifully restored Karoo Lodge. Whilst here you will spend your time tracking cheetah – either by open 4WD or on foot or having sundowners high up on the plateau with stunning sunset views of the surrounding plains.Day 3
