The Petite Garden Suites are 45 square meters in size. The three Petite Garden Suites look out onto their own secret corner garden. Large sliding doors spill open onto a private patio that looks over the gently crafted area. They come fully equipped with all the facilities expected by the modern traveller including: a laptop safe, a beautiful writing desk, iPod docking station, DVD player ,Nespresso machine and complimentary local Mini-bar. The most popular choice, are the hybrid bicycles – ideal for riding in and about the Franschhoek village, as well as visiting the surrounding Franschhoek wine farms. For the more adventurous, they also have mountain bikes equipped with front suspension. We also cater for families with young children.

Using local and seasonal produce you and Vanie will be grinding, blending, chopping and cutting spices to stir up a colourful and fragrant Durban Chicken Curry, Indian Fried Bread (Roti), light and fluffy Basmati Rice, Fresh Tomato Sambals and Cucumber Raita.

Passengers aboard the hop-on hop-off tour will experience a unique and leisurely way to see the Franschhoek Valley as they journey through rolling vineyards in an open-side tram and open-air tram-bus stopping in at some of South Africa’s oldest and most distinguished wine estates.

Babylonstoren's formal garden is laid out over eight acres. The garden boasts over 300 varieties of plants and every one of them is edible. You can expect to experience vegetable, berry and indigenous plant gardens as well as bees, ducks, chickens and an impressive prickly pear maze.

The Exotic Plant Company is located on the family farm, Môreson, and run by Michael Tibbs – the distinguished orchid grower and breeder – it's a sight not to be missed. Whether you are a first-timer or an expert you will find your visit to The Exotic Plant Company enthralling.

After your tour through rooms and rooms of orchids, with a glass of Môreson's finest bubbly in hand, Neil jewell – Executive Head Chef of Bread & Wine Vineyard Restaurant – will tempt your taste buds with a light, scrumptious bite to eat paired with another something special from Môreson's award-winning wine collection.

Finish up with a stroll through the gardens of Boekenhoutskloof one of the oldest farms in the valley. This nature reserve offers 3 hiking trails which all of them are day walks. The reserve is in the Franschhoek Mountains with breathtaking views. Permits are required to access the Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve which can be obtained from the Franschhoek Wine Valley office.
