Shallow reefs work well for novice divers; whilst deep coral drop-offs are home to large pelagic fish and turtles, attracting more experienced divers. The diving and snorkeling around Vamizi Island is probably the best that we encountered in the Quirimbas. There are 12 different dive sites to choose from, from shallow dives for beginners to more challenging ones for the more experienced diver. Benguerra has a fully-equipped dive centre and NAUI dive courses are offered. The reefs are pristine and rich in a variety of fish and coral species; with a range of depths to suit beginner and experienced divers, and snorkellers too. Guludo Beach Lodge has stunning and pristine coral reefs nearby and there are no other lodges nearby diving them. For an off beat, uninterrupted diving experience this is Guludu is perfect. Bazaruto has a NAUI Dive Centre and the reefs are rich in a variety of fish and coral species, and offer a range of depths and reef topography to suit beginner and experienced divers, and snorkellers too.
