Corona offers horse-riding in a very rugged and mountainous area – which we only suggest for experienced riders. It needs to be pre-booked, and riders should satisfy themselves about the safety precautions taken; this is a working farm, not a professional stable that concentrates on taking novices riding. - View lodge details

Bullsport is a working farm; it breeds Namibian horses, and is one of the few registered studs in Namibia. Riding lessons are available, as are short horse-riding trails and guided 1–3 day excursions into the Naukluft Mountains. It's a great place for keen riders. - View lodge details

Desert Homestead offers a range of horseriding activities. These range from sunrise or sunset horserides of one to two hours, to sleep-outs lasting from one to five nights. These longer horseriding trips offer accommodation in luxury tents with all your food cooked for you. - View lodge details

The Canon Lodge has 15 horses which can cater for most levels of riders. When we last visited the Canon Lodge we went on an hour long guided sunrise ride. Several of us were inexperienced riders, but everyone felt at ease and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. - View lodge details
