Ntwala Lodge Caprivi Strip, Namibia
Ntwala's motor-boat trips along the Chobe and Zambezi rivers are excellent for birdlife, and spotting hippos and crocodiles. Relaxed big game from herds of elephants to massive congregations of buffalo are also often seen from the waterfront of Chobe National Park – especially during Botswana's dry season. - View lodge details

Bagatelle Kalahari Game Ranch Southern Namibia, Namibia

Bagatelle's typical Kalahari dunes have good populations of springbok, oryx, giraffe, kudu, steenbok, black-backed jackals, warthogs, brown hyenas and marvelously comical bat-eared foxes. There are several troops of meerkats, including a habituated group. On old oryx and a young springbok frequent the farmstead – both are semi-tame. The ranch sometimes has cheetah and leopard in enclosures. - View lodge details

Mundulea Reserve Central Highlands, Namibia
Mundulea has much more wildlife than a typical Namibian guest farm – including large herds of eland and a recently re-introduced black rhino, giraffe and black-faced impala. It's the centre for interesting research into Namibia's endemic subspecies; if you're interesting and inquisitive, you can expect to learn an immense amount about wildlife here. - View lodge details

Impalila Island Lodge Caprivi Strip, Namibia
The motor-boat trips along the Chobe and Zambezi rivers are excellent for birdlife, hippos and crocodiles – and relaxed big game is also often seen from the waterfront of Chobe National Park. Skeleton Coast Camp Skeleton Coast & Kaokoland, Namibia
The Skeleton Coast lies firmly within the Namib Desert, and much of it is amazingly pristine. Three or four days here allows visitors the priviledge of exploring the varied, and often eddemic, wildlife to be found here – loking at how it has adapted to the various micro-environments to be found here. - View lodge details

Okonjima Bush Camp Central Highlands, Namibia
Okonjima does some fascinating work with the big cats, and visitors get the change to see much of this up close, so getting much closer views of the big cats than are possible in most places. Obviously some are not truly wild – but if they were you wouldn’t be able to approach them so closely. - View lodge details

Desert Rhino Camp Damaraland, Namibia
Desert Rhino Camp is one of the best places in Africa to see black rhino roaming free, and to track them on foot. There are also good populations of desert elephant, Hartmann's mountain zebra, giraffe and plains game. Lion, cheetah, leopard, brown and spotted hyena are also sighted here. - View lodge details

Okonjima Main Camp Central Highlands, Namibia
Okonjima does fascinating work with big cats; visitors will usually have the chance to view the big cats at much closer quarters than possible in most national parks. Obviously most of the animals seen are not truly wild, they are habituated to humans and hence you can approach them closely. - View lodge details

Okonjima is famed for its work with the big cats, and this is a very exclusive place to stay whilst here. Expert to be able to view big cats at close quarters. Palmwag Concession is one of the last wilderness areas in the world outside of a national park.
