The grounds are pretty and plenty of opportunity to watch the local monkeys in the trees. Accommodation is comfortable and well appointed. Bar facilities and food are great with a varied menu.

"Pleasant place to start"
Our room was very comfortable, a lovely big bed, and a real treat in a nice deep, warm bath. The room was a little dark and chilly, on a cloudy, overcast, cool day.
The staff were all lovely, and the food at lunchtime and dinner was super, really fresh and tasty, and we dined outside. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, not much of a spread in a buffet, average coffee, and a rather gloomy terrace.
The much-vaunted birding walk by the river was a bit of let-down, with no birds and lots of mosquitoes. Breakfast was, however, made more fun by the cavorting vervet monkeys in the gardens." See all these reviews: 11n in Tanzania
