Good and clean Hotel we stayed for few hours

Serena Hotel (was Royal Palm)
Good location as not too far from airport. Purports to be a 4/5 star hotel BUT In the room neither the kettle or TV worked.
We ordered room service breakfast before an early start to the airport) and it was late arriving.
Royal Palm Hotel review
Only spent the night there & everything perfectly adequate.
The locals take over the bar & the terrace which makes getting a drink & a snack less than ideal.
Royal Palm hotel was fine for overnight stop
It is conveniently located for an overnight stay. Rooms pleasant, sevice competent and friendly. we had a barbecue dinner on the lawn which was OK .

We only stayed in this hotel for 5 hours due to flights so could not enjoy facilities to the full but was a good hotel to recover from the damp and cold of previous lodge.
Was provided with a very early continental breakfast which was very much appreciated.
A large international-standard hotel.
The Movenpick Royal Palm Hotel is a 30 minute drive from the airport and has everything you would expect of an international hotel (comfortable bed, satellite tv, swimming pool, a choice of two restaurants). It is fine for an overnight stay but no more.
The food was disappointing and expensive and some of the lights in our room were not working. Early morning room service breakfast was prompt and good for an early morning departure.
Comfortable, friendly, quiet, good shower
We arrived late in the evening, showered and went straight to bed, then left early the next morning so didn't get to experience much of the hotel.
Our impressions were that the staff was friendly and efficient, the room clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the hot shower was great after being in transit for about 24 hours.
We have always believed that acting responsibly is the only way to approach tourism and we're one of
the few companies to hold AITO's original coveted 5-star status for responsible tourism. It's a lead
that others are now following.
