Royal Palm Hotel review
pretty standard international hotel.
No complaints and perfectly satisfactory for a one night pre airport departure stay
Royal Palm Hotel review
We were harly there ie just overnight. It took us sometime to find a simple evening meal.

Appears to be one of Dar's top business hotels and now owned by the Movenpick group. Service standards excellent as you'd expect.
Air-conditioning not as good or cold as we wanted. For a one night stop before getting the flight home absolutely fine. Great to be able to check-in on-line in the lobby.
We were on a B&B rate but had to leave before before breakfast started at 0630.
Royal Palm Hotel, Dar
Poor administration at check-in. Wrong rooms allocated but then quickly corrected.

After being in the bush - the hotel was never going to excite us.
It was functional enough but nothing special.
Royal Palm Hotel review
All you would expect of an international hotel and quite a culture shock after the bush, the beach and Dar es Salaam outside.
Beware of poor rate of exchange if settling your bill in dollars or credit card. Restaurant prices are in Tanzanian shillings. Good room service breakfast as we had an early flight and were too early for restaurant breakfast.
Royal Palm Hotel review
After delayed flights we were not here long enough to make much comment other than reception were surly and did not give us the wake up call requested. Had three hours sleep and moved on!
