"We had an overnight stay in the Serena Hotel due to flight timings.
This turned out to be a good idea as we were well rested by the time we set off for our safari. The hotel is a little tired but clean and comfortable.

"The common areas of the hotel were very nice, and the staff were accommodating. The rooms were a little more dated than I was expecting, given the reception areas, but were perfectly comfortable."

"Overall the staff were helpful. Appreciated the bottle of wine and fruit left as a honeymoon gift.

"We had a good time at the Serena, and it served well it’s purpose of killing a few hours between flights.
We had lunch in the patio. The food was tasty, the service very good and attentive. We did not use the pool but we had a look around and it seemed very nice.
The facilities were nice, all squeaky clean. The decor is slightly outdated, but still looking good. Perhaps it feels a bit too much a business hotel, but it’s a minor detail for a very short stay.
The distance from the airport was acceptable (about 30 mins or so late in the morning).

"A good option for our short stop over"

"This hotel was a good option for our short stop over, we arrived quite late and left early the next morning, so we didn’t really utilise the hotels facilities.
There didn’t seem to be many restaurants around, (although there was a Pizza Hut across the road, but we didn’t see it!) but we were quite happy to wander and find something local.
The hotel itself was clean and tidy, we enjoyed a drink in the bar before turning in for the night, the room was large, the bed comfy, and the shower really nice and hot, and the breakfast provided in the morning for us to take away was substantial and good." "We only stayed in the Serena Hotel for a very short time. The hotel itself is quite pleasant.

"The Serena hotel desk reacted wonderfully following my wife's luggage had been lost due to Heathrow's baggage problems. The hotel desk immiediatly upgraded our room w hich was not required but very much appriciated.
The hotel was spotless and all staff were very attentive.
