Fifteen minutes from the park entrance, Wild Africa Manyara Lodge offers simple, good-value accommodation in a truly beautiful setting. It is a good base from which to explore Lake Manyara National Park, a local Masaai village, or simply relax with a post-safari African massage.
The linear nature of the camp ensure that sweeping views across the open grassland towards Lake Manyara and the Escarpment can be enjoyed from private terraces, the central boma and inviting infinity pool. There are 10 large, en-suite tented rooms; each is functional and well-presented. They are raised on polished wooden decks, complete with directors' chairs, and shaded by neat thatch. Well-lit pathways lead to the central dining and lounge area, which sits under an impressively waved thatch structure, and there is an upper level viewing platform affording fabulous sunset vistas.
