This short safari is great value and an ideal first dip into Tanzania's renowned Selous Game Reserve – with 3 nights at Lake Manze Camp, a fairly simple camp offering a first-class and very authentic safari experience which is still excellent value; it combines very well with an add-on trip for relaxing beach time on one of Tanzania's tropical islands.
Day 1
Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled British Airways flies overnight directly to Dar es Salaam.Days 2-4
3 nights at Lake Manze Adventure Camp (full board & activities) | Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania
Landing early in Dar es Salaam, you are met and transferred to the domestic terminal to hop on a light aircraft to Siwandu Airstrip in the Selous Game Reserve. This flight is about 45 minutes, and upon arriving in the Selous you have an hour's game drive through the park to reach Lake Manze Tented Camp. You usually arrive in time for lunch, and spend 3 nights here enjoying game activities with their enthusiastic and knowledgeable guides, including 4x4 game drives, walking safaris and boat trips on the Rufiji River.Day 5
