This safari, focuses on perhaps the most famous camp in southern Tanzania's Selous Game Reserve; promising a most relaxing 5 nights at Sand Rivers Camp, which includes superb guiding for the walking safaris, 4WD game drives and boat trips to explore the Rufiji River – and includes an option to spend one or two nights fly-camping out in the wilds.
Day 1
Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled overnight flight with Kenya Airways flies directly to Dar es Salaam.Days 2-6
5 nights at Sand Rivers Camp (full board & activities) | Selous Game Reserve, Tanzania
Landing early in Dar es Salaam, you are met and transferred to the domestic terminal for your connection with a light aircraft to Kiba airstrip in the Selous Game Reserve. This flight is about 50 minutes, and upon arriving in the Selous you'll be driven for 15 minutes to Sand Rivers Camp. You usually arrive in time for an excellent lunch, before going out for your afternoon activity. Your 5 nights here include activities with a high standard of guiding, which include 4x4 game drives, boat trips and walking safaris.Day 7
