Not to be missed!

Beho Beho likes to leave a few things about the treehouse experience as a surprise which I will honor.

The web site does not do it justice, the tree house is beautiful in every way and the night was one we will never forget. It's an absolute must if you can fit it in!!!

Beho Beho Treehouse review

I have covered most of his in the overview of the Beho Beho camp. I would perhaps add that the walking safari to arrive at the Treehouse is an equally enjoyable experience, avoiding, lone bulls, potentially angry matriarch elephants and hippos dislodged from safe ponds makes for an interesting hour!

A must do for a unique experience, particularly for us because we forgot to close the door at night, who knows what might have entered the timber boudoir?

Tarzan's Hideaway!

Just what your imagination would dream up; romantic, stylish getaway in the bush! This feels a bit more intimate and personal than staying at base camp!

The bathroom was totally funky and the Morrocan lanterns added a bit of exoticism to it!

Beho Beho Treehouse review

A unique experience and sense of adventure - well presented and managed.

Probably not for the faint hearted if you are unfamiliar with the sounds of Africa.

Good fun camping

This is not a fly camp for camping purists. This is Beho Beho, so expect a luxurious and very well done treehouse.

I won't give any more away!

Beho Beho fly-camping review

This was a fantastic experience. We wish not to spoil it for others who have yet to experience the Beho Beho bush camp but are confident that anyone who goes on it will have the most wonderful time. As with Beho Beho it is the staff and the attention to detail that makes this so special and it is an experience that we will both remember for a very long time to come.

If you are thinking about doing it we would definitely recommend it. There is no question that it is an expensive add on but in our view it was worth every penny and when you see the trouble and effort that they go to the price is very reasonable!

Beho Beho fly-camping review

Didn't really think this was worth the extra cost. The camp spot is not very far from the main lodge.

The guide joins you for dinner and we thought you should be asked if you would rather eat alone - especially if you were a honeymoon couple.

Food very good.

Expert Africa comments

Beho Beho acknowledge that a bush night is quite a supplement – but this is due to the fact that they require four staff members to run it. They have three people behind the scenes and then a guide who hosts their stay. They are sorry that these guests did not see it as good value – but are not able to reduce the costs whilst maintaining their usual high standards.

In regards to the guide joining you for dinner – this is largely a safety reason because dinners are taken out in the bush and so the camp would prefer not to offer guests the option of eating alone. However this could have been explained to the guests so that they understood why their meals were hosted in such a way.

The bush night is quite close to the main camp and this is so that guests are able to walk there and back. If the camp were located too far away this would not be an option for most guests.
