Great stay at Ndutu
We really enjoyed our stay here.
Great welcoming feel about the whole place. Charming staff. Very helpful manager lady. Food great. Very comfortable bungalows.

Not our favourite lodge, the location was great but too many guests after the peace and tranquility of Rhotia.
Food was mediocre but plentiful and beautiful birds to look at.
Ndutu Safari Lodge review
We really enjoyed staying at Ndutu. It is such a wonderful setting and I felt it had a nice unpretentious atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the food was really good. It made a great base for exploring the Serengeti and having 4 nights there gave us time to do that.
The only slight problem was trying to reconfirm our flights. The various staff in Reception seemed to regard this as a strange and unusual request and in the end our driver/guide phoned through to his head office and they did it for us.
Wonderful safari at Ndutu Lodge
This was just as I had imagined a safari would be - great setting, wonderful wildlife viewings (although the migration had mostly moved on)
Altogether just my cup of tie. i don't know if this is where you'd like me to mention our guide but Harry absolutely made the holiday and I'm sure we saw more than most people. He drove miles to catch up with the migrating wildebeest and I think we only had breakfast once at the lodge. Otherwise we were on the go all day taking out a picnic breakfast or lunch every day. He was also very knowledgeable about everything and told us many fascinating stories.

I loved this lodge. The location is fantastic and even though the wildebeest and zebra's migration route was up the side of our room each night (a bit noisy) it was all part of the wonderful experience.
The rooms are cosy and non-fussy, some people may think the bathroom is a bit municipal, but for us it was a perfect choice.
Service was great and the food was exceptional - the only complaint that we could have is that there was too much food!
We have always believed that acting responsibly is the only way to approach tourism and we're one of
the few companies to hold AITO's original coveted 5-star status for responsible tourism. It's a lead
that others are now following.
