"The B and B is full of character with large rooms equipped with victorian style furniture. Our host, Wilma, made us very welcome and was very friendly.

The breakfasts were excellent, a fruit plate followed by a full cooked breakfast.

When we wanted an early start to go walking to the Wolfberg Crack in the Cederberg, we were given an excellent packed breakfast and packed lunch at no extra charge.

As it was the flower season, the local restaurants were very busy, Wilma made provisional bookings for us at the best restaurants in Clan William for each evening of our stay before we arrived."

"This was more like a hotel than a bed and breakfast. The breakfast was good and the service efficient.

Our room was excellent with views over the local countryside but others in our group were not as lucky."

Our room was excellent with an excellent view over the lagoon. The dinners and breakfasts were also excellent with plenty of choice.

We were able to go on an excellent walk in the Postberg section of the West Coast National Park which was wonderful for flowers and animals."

"Our accommodation was in self contained chalets in the Karoo National Park with an extensive view over the park where we could occassionaly see wild animals. We ate in the restaurant about 200m away where the service and the food were good.

We were able to go walking from the chalet on the escarpment which gave excellent views over the surrounding countryside. We had a drive in our car round the park in the afternoon and were able to see several wild animals and the organised night time drive was excellent."

"We were lucky to be allocated Rondavals overlooking the waterhole and so could sit on the balcony and watch the animals coming to drink. The drives round the park in our own car were amazing because of the number of animals seen. The hiking trail in the Zuurberg mountains was disappointing, as it involved an initial descent into a valley and a long tiring climb out in the heat of the afternoon. The food in the restaurant was good and well served."

"We were allocated the 3 honeymoon chalets, which seemed strange as we arre all pensioners. However, the chalets were excellent with plenty of space and equipment for 4 people, again strange for honeymoon accommodation.

The views from the chalets were superb. It was about 15 min walk to the restaurant which was worrying as the weather was changeable. The food and service in the restaurant was good but not as good as Karoo and Addo."

"The Old Mill Lodge is on the edge of Swellendam slightly to far to walk to the centre. The rooms were very good but varied but equiped with tea making facilities.

We ate at the restaurant where the food was good and the service was generally O.K. The Drostdy museum complex was well worth the visit."

"This was the most upmarket accommodation in a superb location on the cliffs overlooking Hermanus.

Our room was excellent with a wonderful view.

The establishment was very well run and the staff were friendly. Our breakfasts were excellent and well served."

"This accommodation is south of Cape Town and is in general used by groups of bird watchers. We were the first group of walkers that they had had but they made us very welcome and were very helpful in suggesting walks.

The rooms were good but there were only views of the garden. The food was excellent and as there was a birdwatching group in at the same time, we were able to have dinner in the accommodation."
