First time safari following a rafting trip

"I found Expert Africa a very reasuring company to use.
Having got a white water rafting trip arranged, I wanted to extend my trip to include a safari. After speaking with both Claire and Nick, they recommended going to Hwange and trying 2 different camps in different areas of the park. They also arranged my flights out to Southern Africa and the transfers from the end of my rafting trip to the start of the safari section of my trip.
In fact, the whole trip ran very smoothly and I was very pleased with all the help and advice I was given and the way the trip proceeded."

"Very comfortable safari at Camp Hwange"

"A very comfortable safari camp with friendly welcoming staff and very knowledgeable guides. The water pan in front of the camp did attract some game and provided a great focal point.
The guide was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and was very keen to share some of this knowledge with us. The guide was also keen to take us on walks into the bush which were a real treat, especially when we managed to get up close to a herd of zebra. The food and drink were both plentiful and of great further adding to the experience of staying in a new and very comfortable safari camp."

The camp itself had a lovely old word charm about it along with an informal feel where the staff were more than happy to get you a drink but you were also encouraged to get your own in no one was about.
The room here was a lovely, characterful tented form of accommodation with a private open air bathroom that on occasion the elephants did help themselves to the soap. The area in which the camp was situated also supported large amounts of game so plenty of game viewing close to camp was available."
