"Even though we were struggling with the loss of our luggage, we really enjoyed the experience of being at this camp. Couldn't have asked for a better first camp to visit. The situation in the Kalahari; the location at the water hole; the laid-back atmosphere and friendly staff were exactly as we would have wanted. Our guide, Max, was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful at all times, and accommodated our requests.

The trip to the saltpans with the folks from Gweta Lodge was an added bonus, and one we would recommend to anyone.

"An entirely different experience - from dry and dusty to lush and green. Superb hospitality, and luxury accommodation.

Our guide, Peno (?pronounced Penyo), was again very friendly and helpful with a great amount of knowledge about the country and wildlife. All the staff were very welcoming, and it was great to be able to buy some of the baskets made by the ladies who worked at the camp. Truly local souvenirs of our visit."

"Much enjoyed the tracking experiences at Shinde. Alberto, our guide, made it a fascinating experience, and gave us the chance to see what a Land Cruiser can really do - apart from going to Tesco's! Came up trumps with lion and cheetah.

Very much enjoyed this camp also, and experiencing a drier part of the Delta. Would recommend the boat and mokoro trips also. Again, our guide, Moja, gave us very interesting and informative trips. The staff again were great."
