"Very good, except the cold water in the chalet was very dirty so it was imossible to wash hair or to take a shower."

"The only significant snag was that there were many tsetse flies and both my wife and I were badly bitten. Normal insect protectors don't work. We were advised to use a Dettol Spray, that was loaned to us and this seemed to work. Antihistamine creams did not help, but antihistamine tablets did. It would have helped if we had been warned about this in more detail. (see next lodge comments)."

"Again there were many tsetse flies, to such an extent another couple returned early from a game drive. The senior guide made up a concoction to alleviate the bites by cooking a sauasage from a sausage tree. This worked well.

The guide suggested that at our next camp we got a sausage ( this years growth) cut it and wiped it on the bites, which he said would work as nearly as well as his cooked version."

"There was less game than usual here but we got a magnificent view of 2 leopards. One came and ate the remains of a kill in a tree very close to us."
