"Absolutely loved each park.

"Thanks so much to Lucy Copson for organising an absolutely wonderful trip for us down to the last detail. We have travelled with Expert Africa before and always had a good experience however this time we were a group of 6 which can be challenging to organise. We are very keen on smaller camps, look for great guiding and game but in quieter areas. We were not disappointed and I think this was our best trip yet. Great recommendations, we were so lucky with our game viewing including following wild dogs , leopards and so much else . It all worked very smoothly , we had the most fantastic time - a truly memorable experience. Thank you."

"In terms of game viewing experience, quality of accommodations, ease of connecting between camps and overall enjoyment this is the best safari experience we’ve had.
Expert Africa took care of all the details once we landed in Africa, and when we had a flight delay between camps due to weather, our flight schedule and accommodation for an extra night in camp were organized for us without a hitch.
The quality of every camp was just as we expected. The quality of guiding was the highest we’ve experienced. And even after a month of travel we never tired of the delicious and varied menu options.
Expert Africa took care of every detail and Wilderness (plus Green Safaris for one camp) came through in every camp.

"This trip was as perfect as it could be. The advice and support from Lucy was excellent and she is clearly well liked and thought of in the camps we visited.
We could not have wished for more other than to have stayed longer and enjoyed the lodges, the friendly owners, managers and support staff. Nothing seem to be too much trouble and everyone had a smile on their faces
It was also memorable for the photo opportunities as we had time to take some excellent pictures of all the animals we encountered.
All the lodges were clean comfortable and gave us a sense of being at home in Africa. The locations and views from them all added to the experience.

"Thank you Lucy for putting a great itinerary together. We truly enjoyed our trip to Zambia. It's such a gem of a country.
We had wonderful intimate moments with the African Wildlife and the people. The time passed by far too quickly.

"I had visited three of the camps on this trip in 2022. So I knew quite a lot about them. Busanga Plains was a first visit for me.
Love Chisa Busanga particularly the birds nest rooms.
The plains are quite different to the Lower Zambezi and Luangwa parks. Wetlands nor unlike the Okavango delta.
On my trip in 2022 I witnessed lots of wild dog action in both parks which was the highlight of my trip. This time not quite as much.

"Zambia two years late!"
I visited Zambia between 17 Oct 2022 and 7 Nov 2022
"This trip, like those of many others, was originally booked for 2020 and then postponed again in 2021. This time it was brought forward by a few days and a couple of nights added at the start to take advantage of Emirates pricing. All arrangements went smoothly.
As a first trip to Zambia we chose to visit three national parks (Kafue/ South Luangwa/Lower Zambezi) and were glad we did as they were very different, as were the camps selected. We were a little disappointed by the variety of birds seen and fewer than expected leopards in their supposed hot spot of South Luangwa.
There were film crews in South Luangwa and Kafue throughout our stays which, on occasions, inhibited our access and positioning at sightings. This was a VERY expensive trip and we did not expect our experience to be limited by them taking priority!
However, overall we had a terrific time with plentiful sightings and photos to prove it.

Musekese is a small owner-run tented camp, offering great guiding and a high degree of personal service in a stunning wilderness area, with modest game.
Busanga Bushcamp
Busanga Bushcamp is a small but comfortable tented bushcamp (max 8 guests) which makes a great base for a wildlife safari to the Busanga Plains.
KaingU Lodge
KaingU Lodge, in the centre of the southern part of Zambia's vast Kafue National Park, is in a great location for exploring this section of the Kafue River
Shumba Camp
Shumba is a high-spec camp built on a tree island in the magical Busanga Plains. It opens in May, when the birdlife is particularly amazing; as the dry season progresses, the game can become remarkable.
Ntemwa Busanga Camp
Ntemwa Busanga Camp is a simple but comfortable camp on the southern tip of the Busanga Plains which combines well with its sister camp, Musekese.
