"My Sep 2017 trip"

I visited Zambia between 18 Sep 2017 and 29 Sep 2017
"A truly brilliant trip - one of our best and we have been to Africa on safari on many occasions..

Our fears of the valley being overrun by vehicles were unfounded as the southern end of the Park was just beautiful and only saw Kainga and Mwamba vehicles. Plenty of game but then it was very hot and animals had to come to water. Wonderful photographic opportunities!

We would recommend this trip but perhaps go to the lodge on the Lower Zambezi at the end of the holiday and have a relaxing afternoon on the river and then collected for evening game drive!

All in all a memorable holiday." Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zambia safari

"My Sep 2017 trip"

I visited Zambia between 15 Sep 2017 and 3 Oct 2017
"This was our first trip to Zambia and it was a very positive experience. We met a lot of multiple returnees and I can easily see why.

It is a shame it is classified as a malaria area because everywhere we went managers told us they did not have mosquitoes. The other wildlife is fantastic and plentiful at this time of year (late September - October).

Suggestions to help us improve our trips or our service:

I think your team do a great job at the moment and I certainly recommend Expert Africa wholeheartedly whenever friends are thinking about visiting the area.

As Arnie famously said, I'll be back!" Read full review: 18 nights in Africa; 16 on a Zambia safari

"Lower Zambezi camps and its many activities"

I visited Zambia between 14 Sep 2017 and 25 Sep 2017
"Amazing---wonderful----superb----above our expectations----very varied----great work done on the ground prior to the trip----from Chris spending so much time helping to ascertain whether there were Tstse flies ----i forgot to mention that there were very few, as Chris had indicated----thank you so much----to Freddie doing all the "hard graft"

We want to repeat the experience in Sept 2019 (God willing") + add on quite a few things---so probably a 19 or 20 day trip

We will call now to discuss this very soon

Millions of thanks to the entire team, both in the UK and also in Zambia" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 9 on a Zambia safari

"My trip to Zambia"

I visited Zambia between 31 Aug 2017 and 17 Sep 2017
"Our trip to Zambia was great.

The only things I would do differently next time would be to specify which guide (now that I know them) I wanted at Chongwe (Troy) and Shenton camps (Patrick), and I would not go to Tafika again." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 17 on a Zambia safari

"Leopardmania in Zambia"

I visited Zambia between 26 Aug 2017 and 6 Sep 2017
"Fantastic trip with more leopard sightings in a few days than in combined ten previous trips. Enjoyed the camps, experienced my first bush walk, my first canoe safari. Having lunch in the Zambezi river and dinner in the Lower Zambezi NP under moon light were exciting highlights of an already spectacular trip. Well taken care off by all camps and Expert Africa before and during the trip!" Read full review: 11 nights in Africa; 11 on a Zambia safari

"Zimbabwe and Zambia, August / September 2017"

I visited Zimbabwe and 1 other country between 25 Aug 2017 and 9 Sep 2017
"Fantastic trip organised by Freddie Sutton. I am delighted Freddie suggested Zimbabwe as it turned out to be an excellent destination. As always, Freddie listens to your preferences and carefully recommends the best places to suit your tastes. I had a fantastic time in Mana Pools, with privileged experiences as a solo traveller and the only guest at Little Vundu. The sightings in Hwange were plentiful with very good guiding. And keeping the best until the end of my trip, I truly enjoyed every minute of my stay in Chongwe River Camp, Lower Zambezi, Zambia. The level of knowledge and efficiency of Expert Africa's team makes every trip they organise a wonderful holiday." Read full review: 15 nights in Africa; 10 on a Zimbabwe safari

"ZAMBIA 2017 - what a great birthday present"

I visited Zambia between 24 Aug 2017 and 10 Sep 2017
"This was our thirteenth safari, but after a gap of 10 years. Our expectations were high, but they were surpassed and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
I wanted to go to small, “rustic” and family run camps. These were good criteria and worked well for us. All were in excellent locations, but with hindsight it was a mistake to go back to the one we had been to before, which now has new owners.
We particularly loved Old Mondoro, mainly because it had:
- More activities, the river outings and it was the only camp, which could accommodate our wish for a two hour walk

- The view from our room over the siesta period was absolutely amazing with all the comings and goings of different animals and birds.
Mwamba was a very close second
The leopard sightings at Kaingo were spectacular, with guide, Yoram and excellent at Mwamba and Old Mondoro.
We also liked your concise travel documents and wallet." Read full review: 17 nights in Africa; 15 on a Zambia safari

"Zambia holiday exceeded expectation"

I visited Zambia between 15 Aug 2017 and 25 Aug 2017
"We thoroughly enjoyed our Zambian experience. We had great wildlife encounters with knowledgeable and charming guides, fabulous camps, outstanding food and very welcoming camp staff. We couldn't have asked for more and whilst Botswana remains my favourite safari destination because of the magnificent Okavango Delta, Zambia is a very close second."
