Aardvark safari - dry: In full
This trip to Zambia concentrates on the South Luangwa in the dry season, staying for 6 nights split between two camps run by Norman Carr Safaris; you will combine the new and very luxurious flagship property Chinzombo, with the simpler but still very comfortable Mchenja Bushcamp. Both sit on the Luangwa River but are in very different parts of South Luangwa National Park so the combination offers real diversity.
Zambia’s weather is generally fine and dry from June to October. For the equivalent trip during the green season (December to May), see Aardvark safari (wet).
Day 7Depending on your onward plans, you might either transfer to Mfuwe Airport in the morning for your flight to Lusaka. Or if you are not in a rush perhaps enjoy a morning safari and return to Lusaka in the afternoon. There are a number of flights back to Lusaka a day so the choice is yours.
