"Beautiful Tena Tena!"

3 nights Arrived 12 Jun 2016
"Everything i said about Nkwali is the same for Tena Tena!

Bumped into wild dog's twice, pack of sixteen, and a pack of six, was a huge plus, did not expect to see them, also had wonderful sightings of leopard's, not just fleeting but she actually posed very nicely on a tree for us, wonderful photographs of that moment, elephant's, Eland, baboon's, lion's and their cub's, watching them get ready for their hunt at dusk, the list is endless, particularly pleased at seeing the majestic Martial Eagle!" "Tena Tena - 4 nights"

4 nights Arrived 21 Oct 2015
"A beautiful camp with a chorus of hippos (we have no objection, but some guests find them disruptive to sleep)! The tents are very well done and do work well at keeping out insects. (I am impressed by the velcro for the tent zips - so easy to repair a sticky zip!)

We had excellent morning walks here. The professional behaviour of guides and scouts is notable and we felt very comfortable walking with them. We also had very good drives, even the evening that had a lot of wind and blown sand gave us a white-tailed mongoose :)

As a highlight, we also saw wild dogs here (our second pack). We thoroughly enjoyed our time - the whole experience was great." See all these reviews: 16n in Zambia

"Tena Tena at last"

3 nights Arrived 22 Sep 2015
"This was our visit to Tena Tena - like Nsefu it has a splendid location on the bank of the Luangwa. The new tents are very private and spacious.

We enjoyed excellent game drives and a memorable walk with Bertram, where we came close to many giraffes towering above us." See all these reviews: 16n in Zambia

"Great experience in every aspect"

2 nights Arrived 30 Aug 2015
"Beautiful lodging/setting, fantastic staff & service, and our guide, a true delight.

Special note on the food! I'm a picky eater and so, my fellow travelers were dumbstruck when I tried and liked, no Really Liked, everything served. Hate lentils...the lentil soup didn't taste like lentils. If was fabulous. Don't like pork...the pork salad was out of this world. I couldn't figure out how to kidnap the chef without going over the luggage limit. Thank you.

And, Nyambe....keep working on the tropical booboo." See all these reviews: 10n in Zambia; 2n in Zimbabwe

"This camp was particularly friendly.

We saw some amazing wildlife whilst there - a leopard at first light, five lions on the move at dusk, a hyena and cub by their den were just some of the highlights.

The tents are very comfortable." See all these reviews: 7n in Zambia

"Loved It"

2 nights Arrived 3 Aug 2015
"I loved Tena Tena, this being my first ever safari I couldn't have wished for a better start. The staff were all brilliant especially Christabell and our guide Nyambi.

The tents were clean and extremely comfortable. the guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. The food was delicious and very healthy, and they catered for my dietary requirements superbly. I really enjoyed the fact that all the guests ate together, travelling on my own it made my trip really enjoyable listening and chatting to everyone else.

I would definitely recommend staying here" See all these reviews: 10n in Zambia
