Enjoy Zanzibar on this 7 night island break which incorporates a fun and lively resort with a traditional boutique hotel, both with many of the creature-comforts from home; the resort style Breezes Beach Club has all the amenities of a good hotel and then for your last 2 nights stay at the centrally located Zanzibar Palace Hotel in Stone Town.

This trip includes flights from and back to Dar es Salaam, but no international flights. It is designed to add onto the end of one of our Tanzania safaris to create a great trip with two very separate parts: a bush safari and a beach break.

Days 1-5

5 nights at Breezes Beach Club (half board) | Michamvi Peninsula, Zanzibar

After finishing your chosen safari, you connect through Dar es Salaam onto a short 20-minute domestic flight to Zanzibar Airport. From here, a driver will take you to a south-eastern part of the island, where you find the picturesque coastal strip of the Michamvi Peninsula and Breezes Beach Club. Utilize the numerous facilities available whilst staying at this long-standing favourite; relax by the pool, go scuba diving, and experience the range of Eastern treatments offered by Thai therapists.

Days 6-7

2 nights at Zanzibar Palace Hotel (bed & breakfast) | Stone Town, Zanzibar

In the morning your driver will collect you from your hotel for the beautiful drive back to Stone Town. Get a feel for Zanzibar as you pass the many banana and palm trees, and then drive through Jozani National Park, inhabited by the rare Kirk's red colobus monkey before arriving at Zanzibar Palace Hotel. Wander the lively streets of Stone Town during the day, taking in some of the rich history that is found here. Then in the evenings enjoy dinner and a drink in some of restaurants and bars.

Day 8

On your last day there’s time last minute sight-seeing before you head back to the airport from your onward flight to Dar Es Salaam.
