Black Rhino Safari : In full

This Safari spends 6 nights on the shores of Lake Kariba beside Matusadona National Park. It takes in four nights at Musango Safari Camp situated on a small island and then finishes off with two nights at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge.

The area attracts a lot of buffalo who are accompanied by a variety of other game including elephant and antelope. Drawn to the foreshore of the Lake by the sweet grazing and ready supply of water this high density of herbivores in turn attracts prides of lion and supports leopard and hyena too. You'll be staying at two contrasting camps; Musango majors on the safari experience while Bumi Hills offers as much or as little activity as you wish – take a gentle game walk around the private concession or just relax by the pool.

Day 1

Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled overnight flight with South African Airways or British Airways will take you to Johannesburg.

Days 2-5

4 nights at Musango Safari Camp (full board & activities) | Matusadona National Park, Zimbabwe

In Jo'burg you'll connect to a 2-hour scheduled flight to Victoria Falls where you'll catch a light aircraft and travel along the Zambezi River to Bumi Hills' Airstrip. A half-an-hour road and boat transfer then takes you on to begin your 4 night stay at Musango. Although there's a laid–back island feel to Musango you certainly won't get bored during your stay here – activities include 4WD game drives, nature walks, boat and canoe trips and even fishing, all accompanied by top 'ZimPro' guides. You can also visit a local fishing village and see efforts being made to manage human-wildlife conflict.

Days 6-7

2 nights at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge (full board & activities) | Matusadona National Park, Zimbabwe

After your time at Musango you'll transfer by road and boat to Bumi Hills Safari Lodge where you'll spend your final 2 nights. With fantastic views across the Lake Bumi offers the chance to relax, unwind and do as much or as little as you feel like. Activities here include 4WD game drives, nature walks, game and birdwatching boat trips, fishing, cultural tours and even the chance to visit the nearby crocodile farm.

Day 8

Leaving Bumi it's another flight transfer back to Victoria Falls in time to connect with your scheduled international flight to Jo'burg, and onto your overnight flight back to London Heathrow.

Day 9

Arriving back in London Heathrow, early in the morning, you'll have the day to recover from your travels or to continue on and transfer to your final destination.
