Goliath Safari Add-on: In full
This add-on trip spends 4 nights at Goliath Safaris' semi-permanent camp on the banks of the Zambezi. This add-on includes transfers to and from Lusaka and is an excellent way to get a feel for the Mana Pools National Park while on safari in Zambia. This trip would be suited to those who are reasonably fit and in search of adventure and close encounters with wildlife.
Days 1-4
4 nights at Goliath Safaris (full board & activities) | Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe
You'll be collected from Lusaka and driven to Chirundu on the Zambia-Zimbabwe border, a journey of a couple of hours. Here you’ll cross into Zimbabwe and be met by a new vehicle for another road transfer (of about four hours) to Goliath Safaris. Accommodation here is simple but well maintained and the setting is stunning, right on the banks of the Zambezi River. The camp is remote and the surrounding area full of wildlife. You'll spend the days walking, driving and paddling in the company of some exceptional guides while in the evenings you'll take dinner under the stars, a perfect time to decant the day's events around an open campfire. Day 5
On your last day, you will awake by the river and then after breakfast be driven back through the park to Chirundu.
