This Safari spends 4 nights at Somalisa Camp located on a flood plain in the middle of Hwange National Park. The area is particularly popular with elephants and many animals come to drink from the pumped waterhole in front of camp. An authentic bush camp near the Kennedy Vlei Line, Somalisa offers classic luxury from a bygone age.
Day 1
Starting from London Heathrow, your scheduled overnight flight with South African Airways or British Airways will take you to Johannesburg.Day 2
1 night at Somalisa Camp (full board & activities) | Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
In Jo'burg you'll connect to a 2-hour scheduled South African Airways or British Airways flight to Victoria Falls. From there you'll be met by your driver who will transfer you south by road to Hwange Main Camp, a drive of around 2 hours on tarred road through Zimbabwe's rural countryside. At Main Camp you'll meet your guide who will transfer you to camp. A game drive through mopane woodlands and open, ancient floodplains takes about an hour before you arrive at your base for the next 4 nights at Somalisa Camp.Days 3-5
Staying at Somalisa Camp for a total of four nights, your stylish tented room has an en-suite bathroom and is a great base for game drives in Hwange National Park and guided walking safaris to the Kennedy Vlei Line. You can also spend some time in the nearby hides, which allow you to get closer to the game that passes by…Day 6
After exploring the vast Hwange National Park you'll take a final, early morning game drive back to Hwange Main Camp where you will bid your guide farewell. From there it's a drive back to Victoria Falls in time to connect with your scheduled international flight to Jo'burg, and onto your overnight flight back to London Heathrow.Day 7
