Rainbow Falls Add-on: In full
This is a short, 2-night trip staying at Ilala Lodge which is barely 10 minutes' walk from the Victoria Falls. This can easily be added onto most of our Zimbabwe Safaris – and can also be added, with a slightly different cost, to Botswana Safaris or many of our Zambia Safaris. Victoria Falls is a classic spot for a relaxing interlude and serves as an excellent starting or finishing point to a safari.
Days 1-2
2 nights at Ilala Lodge (bed & breakfast) | Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
From Victoria Falls Airport it's a very easy 20-minute drive to Ilala Lodge. As you approach the town it appears beneath a backdrop of spray from the Falls; a 2 night stay here is perfect to relax, get over your journey (or prepare for one, if this is the beginning of your trip) and enjoy a gentle wander to the great waterfall itself. This lovely hotel is in the best location possible; it stands between the waterfall and the small town – with only a very short walk to either. As additional extras, the adventurous will find adrenaline activities, including white-water rafting and bungee jumping readily available in the area. If you want to engage in these then we suggest that you stay here for longer than two nights.Day 3
If you are at the end of your trip, you will fly from Victoria Falls back to London via Johannesburg. If just beginning, you may be transferred across to Botswana or Zambia or to one of the wildlife reserves in Zimbabwe to head off onto your chosen Botswana, Zambia or Zimbabwe safari.See Prices & details for the precise dates/prices for this trip - and all the fine print.
