Ruckomechi Add-on: In full
This add-on trip spends 3 nights at Ruckomechi Camp, which overlooks the Zambezi River and the Rift Valley. This add-on includes transfers to and from Lusaka and is a great way to add a taste of Zimbabwe as a short side-trip to your holiday in Botswana or Zambia or to adapt and add to any Zimbabwean itinerary too. You will stay in a lovely tented chalet overlooking the mighty Zambezi River.
Days 1-3
3 nights at Ruckomechi Camp (full board & activities) | Mana Pools National Park, Zimbabwe
In the morning, after being collected from Lusaka, you will be driven for two hours along the Great South Road to the Zimbabwean border at Chirundu. After crossing the border, you will be transferred by boat and spend a further 90 minutes on the Zambezi before arriving at Mana Pools National Park, the boundary for which lies within the concession of your camp.This is your base for the next few nights, and you'll be shown to your spacious tent with en-suite bathroom. This secluded safari camp is located among the trees on the banks of the Zambezi River, and has beautiful views across the Rift Valley and is a great place to spot the elephant, buffalo, hippo and eland that roam the area.
Day 4
