Somalisa Safari Add-on: In full
This add-on trip spends 3 nights at Somalisa Camp on a flood plain in the middle of Hwange National Park, including transfers to/from Livingstone; it is a great way to see some of Zimbabwe as a short side-trip from one of our safaris to Zambia or Botswana. You will stay at an authentic bush camp near the Kennedy Vlei Line, which gives you plenty of opportunity to spot the great herds of elephant that roam Hwange National Park.
Days 1-3
3 nights at Somalisa Camp (full board & activities) | Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
You'll be collected in the morning from Livingstone, and then driven across the railway bridge over the Zambezi, very close to the Falls, through the town of Victoria Falls, and then into Zimbabwe's rural countryside. After about 150km along the tarmac highway (about two hours' drive) you will turn into the Hwange National Park. It's then about an hour's drive to Somalisa Camp. This authentic bush camp is your base for the next three nights. Located near the Kennedy Vlei line it's a good place to spot some of the 100 mammals that frequent Hwange National Park.
