Cost of this trip

From To Cost

  • The prices shown are based on two people travelling together, sharing double or twin rooms. Speak to us if you'd like to know the single room surcharges.
  • Because this safari is based on using a private vehicle and guide for part of the trip, the per person costs would reduce if more than two people travelled together. Conversely, they would increase substantially if only one person travelled alone.
  • Oliver's Camp and Sayari Mara Camp are both closed in April and May.

Beach add-on’s

Adding some time on the beach after this safari is very easy – we have lots of ideas! An obvious addition would be a beach trip to Zanzibar, although for a more remote island, with excellent diving and snorkelling, consider a trip to Mafia.

This safari includes

  • A superior guide and private 4WD vehicle for the first portion of your safari.
  • At Sayari Mara Camp you'll be guided by one of the very good resident guides in one of the camp's safari vehicles. Here you might share activities with other guests.
  • Current park fees for Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, The Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Serengeti National Park.
  • A complementary laundry service and most drinks whilst at Gibbs Farm, Oliver's Camp and Sayari Mara Camp. Only champagne, premium wines and spirits will cost extra.

This safari excludes

  • International flights to and from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
  • Drinks and laundry, except as mentioned above.
  • Tips, which are optional.
  • The cost of arranging visas - currently (December 2013) holders of British and American passports do need a visa for Tanzania, which can be obtained through the Tanzanian High Commission or Embassy closest to you prior to travel.
