Stay in luxury accommodation throughout this 10-night safari holiday. The firefinch safari explores Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and two different areas of the Serengeti National Park; expect breath-taking views and spectacular wildlife as you travel through northern Tanzania with your own knowledgeable Superior guide and 4WD vehicle.


Days 1-3

3 nights at Plantation Lodge (full board & activities) | Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Plantation Lodge is full of colonial charm and overlooks coffee plantations...On arrival into Kilimanjaro your private superior guide will meet you with a 4WD safari vehicle. Your first drive takes roughly 2½ hours to the lovely Plantation Lodge. Plantation Lodge is perfectly located to explore both the Ngorongoro Crater and also Lake Manyara National Park. Spend one full day on safari in Manyara – which is a small yet wonderfully diverse park where you often find good numbers of game including elephant, buffalo and even tree climbing lions. On your second full day you'll drive to the Ngorongoro Crater.

Days 4-6

3 nights at Namiri Plains Camp (full board & activities) | Serengeti Migration Area, Tanzania

The Namiri Plains Camp is situated two hours east from the game rich Seronera area of the Serengeti…Leaving the agricultural landscapes behind, you'll drive through the Ngorongoro forests before reaching drier environs. Maasai tribespeople reside here and you'll pass herders in traditional dress and small homesteads on your way to the vast Serengeti Plains. These grasslands are alive with the migration during the months of late-November to April. Stay at Namiri Plains for three nights. Making the most of travelling with a superior guide in your own safari vehicle with a pop top roof, you'll explore this game rich area at your own pace. You can even head out for the entire day – stopping somewhere shady for a bush picnic.

Days 7-9

3 nights at Ubuntu Camp (full board & activities) | Serengeti Migration Area, Tanzania

Ubuntu Camp is a small, semi-permanent camp in the Serengeti National Park.Drive deeper into the Serengeti. Your destination will depend on the time of year you are travelling. You'll head to the mobile tented camp - Ubuntu which moves where they predict the the migrating herds of wildebeest to congregate - either the lush southern plains, the western corridor and Grumeti River area, or the far north in the Serengeti on the Mara River. You'll keep your private driver-guide so you'll have complete flexibility to explore at your own pace.

Day 10

Drive to the nearby airstrip and catch a light aircraft flight to Arusha. From here, you can continue with your own arrangements or go on to one of our beach add-ons in Zanzibar, Pemba, Ras Kutani or the Mafia Archipelago.
