My Aug 2013 trip

On this trip, I visited Zambia between 23-Aug-2013 and 31-Aug-2013 and I travelled alone.

Overall my trip experience was:

The Eight Reedbuck Hotel was a disaster, please do no recommend this hotel to other guests. It was a hodge podge of decor through out the bedroom/bathroom, four different walls in one room and very tired. No light in the shower so you could only take showers in daylight - the showerhead had never been cleaned so the water spurted out all over the bathroom except downwards!

We waited an hour in the restaurant to get a cheese and ham toastie with chips which arrived not toasted and without chips. We then waited a long time to receive the bill which was written out by hand. There was loud music blaring in the restaurant until we asked them to turn it down and even then there was noise from a TV and locals at the bar which was still drifting into the restaurant.

We were the only guests there, definitely not suitable for your clients - actually I would like to know how much was paid and I think we should be refunded for this hotel. Definitely not as stated on their website, in a industrial area of the city. Some friends stayed at the Southern Sun which is 25 minutes from the airport and in the same area as other hotels and they had more positive feedback.

I stayed at and have reviewed:
