Walking safaris in Mozambique
Walking safaris in Mozambique are currently very limited indeed. There are relatively few big game areas and very few camps in these areas,… and so none that we can really recommend for walking safaris. We're hoping to look to Gorongosa National Park, or possibly the vast Niassa Reserve, in the future.
Currently, there's only one recommendation below - and that's for a very wild area beside Lake Malawi: Manda Wilderness Area, where Nkwichi Lodge is located. This isn't an area of high density game, but is a wild area which has some game species, and does offer the elusive 'bush and beach' combination of bush walks from a beach lodge.
