Liuwa Plain Safari - 3n Robin Pope

Liuwa Plain Safari - 3n Robin Pope

Robin Pope Safaris will be running trips to Liuwa Plain National Park on several dates throughout 2017. These three night departures are guided by the legendary Robin Pope himself, and provide a chance to explore one of the most isolated national parks in Zambia, as well as experience the second largest migration of wildebeest in the world.

Scheduled flights from Lusaka are used to reach Liuwa Plain, before a transfer to the new King Lewanika Lodge, currently operated by Norman Carr Safaris. Due to the early departure of the flight, it's necessary to stay one night in Lusaka before your departure to Liuwa Plain.

There are set departures for this trip in April when flocks of hundreds of pelicans, cranes and skimmers start to arrive in the park, and December when the wildebeest start to drop their calves.
